Russia's Rio Reforms

All Sport

Russia has announced new anti-doping reforms - which it hopes will lead to its athletics team being allowed to compete at the Rio Olympics. The country's currently banned from track and field - after an independent World Anti-Doping Agency report found evidence of widespread cheating. Athletes intending to compete in Rio will have to undergo a minimum of three externally administered anti-doping controls. Two independent experts - nominated by WADA - will also be based full-time in Moscow.
