The Netherlands Football Association says it's sorry for the harm caused to Vera Pauw.
Ireland's football coach published a long statement on social media over the weekend, outlining abuse allegations.
She has alleged one prominent football figure in the Netherlands raped her when she was a young player, and claims two others sexually assaulted her.
Vera Pauw says she made complaints to the Football Association there that were not dealt with appropriately, which she has taken to the police in her native Netherlands.
She also thanked the FAI for it's unwavering support.
