Andy Murray made a spectacular return to grand slam tennis with a five-set victory over Yoshihito Nishioka in the first round of the US Open.
The Brit fought back from two sets and a break down, to progress in New York.

It was Murray's first major singles match since undergoing career-saving hip surgery.
