Leicester beaten again as Southampton win at King Power

All Sport
An Adams brace saw the Saints steal the points

There were wins for Leicester, Crystal Palace and Fulham on Saturday afternoon.

Leicester were beaten at home by Southampton on a 2-1 scoreline. After a dull first half James Maddison gave the Foxes the lead, but two Che Adams goals saw the Saints - who had Gavin Bazunu in goal - the points.

At Goodison Park, Everton came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest. Brennan Johnson had put the visitors ahead, before Demarai Gray earned the Toffees a share of the spoils, and their first points of the new season.

Crystal Palace were comfortable 3-1 winners over Aston Villa. Wilfried Zaha scored a brace after Villa had taken an early lead through Ollie Watkins.

While Fulham were 3-2 winners over Brentford. The Cottagers had been two clear at one stage, but needed late Mitrovic goal to take the points.

At lunchtime, Harry Kane scored a 185th goal for Tottenham, a record goal total for a single club in the Premier League.
