FIFA's ethics committee has recommended a two-year ban from football for the former head of the German FA - Wolfgang Niersbach. He resigned from his position last year. Niersbach denies wrongdoing of failing to report possible corruption following allegations Germany paid bribes to FIFA officials to vote for the country's winning bid to host the 2006 World Cup. He's still on the FIFA Council and UEFA's executive committee.
