Rugby union's Six Nations could be in for a funding boost of over 300-million pounds sterling.
Competition organisers have agreed to sell a stake in the competition to private equity firm CVC Capital Partners.
The deal is subject to regulatory approvals.
CVC's also invested in the English Premiership and the Pro14.
