Manchester City have won the Community Shield on penalties against Liverpool.
It finished 1-1 after Raheem Sterling put the League Champions ahead after just 12 minutes.
Joel Matip came off the bench to power home a Virgil Van Dijk cross, putting Liverpool level with 15 minutes to go.
Kyle Walker had to resort to desperate acrobatics to keep a Mo Salah scoop shot off the line.
City won by 5 penalties to 4.
