Brentford outclass Wolves to claim second Premier League victory

Toney impressed for Brentford, scoring a goal and setting up another

Brentford have recorded their second Premier League win of the season.

They beat Wolves 2-0 in Saturday's early game at Molineux. Ivan Toney gave them the lead on 28 minutes, converting a penalty.

He had the ball in the net on two other occasions in the opening 45 minutes but both were ruled out - one for offside, and the other for a handball in the build-up.

They would have a second before the break though Bryan Mbeumo finished a Toney cross to the back of the net.

Brentford did finish the game with 10 men however after Shandon Baptiste was shown two yellow cards in six second-half minutes.

It's a second win for the side promoted from the Championship last season after they overcame Arsenal on the opening day.
