A post mortem is expected to take place today on the body of a woman discovered in Rathmines.
The remains of the woman - believed to have been in her mid forties - were found in a flat yesterday.
The scene remains sealed off, and Gardai say the post mortem results will determine the course of their investigation.
The woman's identity hasn't been confirmed.
