A woman in her late 30s is due in court later, charged in connection with an aggravated burglary in Clongfriffin.
It happened yesterday evening at around 6.40pm when the woman broke into an apartment, armed with a knife, in the Railway Road area.
She then fled the scene when disturbed and nobody was hurt.
The woman was later found by Gardaí and arrested by Gardai from Coolock.
She's due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning.
