Virus Claims Another 25 Lives

25 more people have died after getting Covid-19.

13 of the deaths were located in the east, 8 in the north, 2 in the south and 2 in the west of the country.

18 people were reported as having underlying health conditions.

It brings the death toll now to 235.

Meanwhile, 365 more people have been diagnosed with the deadly infection.

It means there are now 6,074 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland.

Dublin has the highest number of cases at 3,268.

Community transmission accounts for 67%, close contact accounts for 23%, travel abroad accounts for 10%.
