Three men arrested after €1 Million worth of cannabis seized at Dublin Airport

They arrived on separate flights from New York yesterday.

Revenue officials confiscated over 50 kilos of herbal cannabis after stopping three male passengers from New York. 

It's estimated the drugs are worth an estimated €1 Million. 

Their bags were searched following an intelligence-led operation, and with the assistance of detector dog Maggie.

The trio - aged in their 20s - arrived on two flights from JFK and Newark, and were arrested at the scene. 

They were detained at a Garda station in the city under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drugs Trafficking) Act.

Revenue officials say investigations are ongoing.
