Investigations are continuing into three fatal crashes on the country's roads.
A motorcyclist in his late teens died after a crash with a car at the junction of Killbarron Road and Cromcastle Road in Coolock, shortly after lunchtime yesterday.
A male pedestrian in his 70's has died following a collision with a car on the N5 at Frenchpark, Co Roscommon yesterday evening.
Elsewhere, a man in his fifties died after being struck by a lorry at Killmallock in Co Limerick on Wednesday evening.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to all three incidents.
