GardaI are appealing for witnesses after an 18-year-old was attacked in Artane.
It happened on Thorndale Walk yesterday evening and the man was left with stab wounds.
It's believed up to 20 young people were involved.
The attackers fled in the direction of the Rockfield park area between 8 and 9 o'clock.
The teenagers injuries are said to be life changing but not life threatening.
