A soldier in Paris has opened fire outside the Lourve after being attacked by a man with a knife.
The suspect was shot in the legs at the famous museum.
He was carrying a suitcase but bomb disposal experts have confirmed there were no explosives in the bag.
The French Interior Ministry has described it as a serious security incident.
