Work at a building site on Baggot Street was brought to a halt today ... after a scorpion was spotted.
The alarm was raised when the unexpected visitor crawled out of a deliver of sinks.
Only a handful of Scorpion species are deadly, but many of them can deliver a nasty sting. The ISPCA says the one found today is quite small, and they're still not sure what type of scorpion it is. They're also looking for a suitable home for the creature. It's thought it may have come from Turkey.
