2017 was the safest year on Ireland's roads since records began.
158 people lost their lives in crashes last year. That's down 15% on 2016.
The figures include 23 people who were killed in Dublin.

While the news of the reduction is being welcomed, the RSA's Brian Farrell says much more needs to be done:
