Environmental groups have come out against plans for a bio-diversity centre on the southside.
The site at the edge of the Booterstown marsh is to be five-storeys high and feature a creche, cafe, health studio and outdoor pools.
But, eco campaigners say it's a commercial development that would have a negative impact on the protected marsh.
