2 arrests have been made.
Revenue officers seized 11.2kg of herbal cannabis at two separate locations in Dublin. The cannabis has an estimated value of €224,000.
These seizures were made as a result of joint operations conducted by Revenue’s Customs Service, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), and DMR North Central and DMR East Divisional Drugs Units.
A man in his 40s and a woman in her 50s were arrested by the Gardaí. Both of them are currently detained at a Dublin Garda station.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
