A commemorative plaque will be unveiled today at a housing project in Dublin.

A new social housing complex will be officially unveiled in Dublin today.

It's set to be named after the first child killed in the Easter Rising.

North King Street was the centre of heavy fighting during the rebellion.

16 civilians were killed on the street and 9 on the new development site.

One of those was Sean Francis Foster - a 2-year-old who became the first of 40 kids to die in the Rising.

He'll be honoured with a Commemorative Plaque at Sean Foster Place.

30 new homes will be introduced to the area as part of a Dublin City Council project.

Dublin's Lord Mayor will unveil a plaque in the toddler's memory this morning.
