A new lead is being investigated as the search continues for an Icelandic tourist who disappeared in the city centre.
Last Sunday marked a year since Jon Jonsson was last seen on the Swords Road in Whitehall.
The 41 year-old Dad of four was on holiday with his fiancee at the time.
Private Investigator, Liam Brady, has been hired by his family - he believes there are people that know what happened;
"At the moment, I believe that there's a possible, not a breakthrough, but that something has come to light within my ongoing investigations," he said.
"I wish to interview someone who is incarcerated abroad."
