More housing to feature in O'Devaney plan

A planning application is due by November.

More than 100 new privte homes could be added to the contraversial O'Devaney Gardens site.

According to the Business Post, development firm, Bartra Capital has entered consultation with planners, with a view to building over a thousand homes on the site near the Phoenix Park.

Bartra is due to sell half of the homes to Dublin City Council for social and affordable housing.

It is unclear how many would be involved in the cost rental scheme.

The planning application is due to be submitted by November.
