The iconic statue has been vandalised twice in the space of a week.
The polished bronze statue on Suffolk Street in town was targeted again this week - this time with green paint across the bust.
It follows a separate attack on the statue last week.
The well-known landmark is a popular tourist attraction in the city.
The graffiti vandals wrote “7 years bad luck” across the statue’s chest, and “good luck” on the wheelbarrow.
Dublin City Council has described the incidents as "senseless".
