A man's due in court today in connection with the seizure of a handgun and ammunition in the West of the city.
The man - who's in his 30s - was arrested in Ashtown on Wednesday.
He's due before a sitting of Dublin District Court at the Courts of Criminal Justice.
A woman in her 30s has been released without charge.
Gardaí say a files being prepared for the DPP.
