A man in his 50s has died after he was struck by a LUAS tram in North County Dublin last night.
It happened shortly after 1 oclock in the morning in Broombridge in Cabra.
The man's body has been removed to the City Morgue, with a post mortem due to take place in due course.
Gardai have completed a technical examination of the scene and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
