Man arrested over invoice fraud scheme

A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection to a invoice re-direct fraud scheme.

Gardaí say €15million has been stolen globally by criminals in relation to these types of frauds, with up to nine million euro laundered through bank accounts of gangs and money mules in Ireland.

This latest arrest was made in the Milltown area of Dublin 14 today.

The suspect is being detained at Blackrock Garda Station.
