Up to 20 members of the Iranian Irish community rallied outside Leinster House this lunchtime.
The Iranian community gathered to highlight their disgust at the events taking place in Iran.
It comes after more than 170 days of bloodshed in Tehran during an uprising.
More than 19,000 have been arrested there with 690 convicted.

Death by execution continues to take place with a number of young people killed.
The group are calling on the government to expel the Iranian ambassador and other key diplomats.
