Tourism bosses say jobs have already been lost in the hospitality sector because of the Coronavirus.
Many hotels have had cancellations as fewer people are traveling while bars and restaurants are also suffering a downturn in trade.
The IDA has warned foreign direct investment is also likely to be hit because of the spread of COVID-19.
