Gardai are still hunting for a man who dumped a gun haul on the north side.
A submachine gun and four handguns were found in a backpack on a street in Coolock.
The firearms were seized as Gardaí chased the man -- who abandoned his car during a routine traffic stop and made a run for it.
According to the Herald, Gardaí believe the weapons seizure could be linked to a feud between crime gangs in the Coolock area.
The car's been seized, and the guns are being examined by the Garda Ballistics Unit.
