Wicklow County Council has closed the Upper Car Park at Glendalough.
Visits to the site have jumped since measures like school closures were brought in by Government over a week ago.
The Council made the decision due to concerns regarding Social Distancing guidelines.
The closure of the car park, includes the food franchises until further notice.
