A garda and a man have been shot in North Dublin.
It happened within the past hour in Ballymun.
Details are only emerging but it's understood gardai were carrying out a drugs raid at a house when a shot was fired injuring a garda from the Emergency Response Unit.
Gardai returned fire and a man inside the house was shot.
The garda and the man have been brought to hospital but it’s understood their injuries are not life threatening.
