A new progress report for the North Inner City has been launched -- detailing projects and improvements that have been carried out in the area in 2018.
An inner city task force was set up in response to the Hutch / Kinahan feud, while forty more Gardaí were assigned to the area.
This year's seen redevelopment work start on the Rutland Street School, upgrades to sport and community facilities, and a number of social housing projects have gotten underway.
Local Councillor Ray McAdam says there's still more to do:
"There's an awful lot of more invisible work that needs to be done as well," he said.
"Whether it's in terms of provision for addiction services, residential care, work that the Gardaí are doing behind the scenes as well.
"They're making sure that the communities that I'm proud to represent are able to live in a secure and safe environment."
