A messy situation at Dublin Airport.

A Ryanair flight led to an emergency being declared at Dublin Airport yesterday.

Emergency services were alerted when the plane had a problem landing.

Ryanair said the flight from Liverpool to Dublin "experienced a minor technical issue with its nose-landing gear upon landing".

Emergency services attended the scene after the plane landed.

Conflicting reports began to emerge, as Dublin Airport Tweeted to say that everyone had disembarked the plane safely, while others took to social media to say that they were still on board.

National Ambulance Service personnel and medics met passengers on arrival inside the terminal.

There was no reports of any injuries although one person was treated for shock.

Parts of the airport were closed yesterday, in what is already one of the busiest days of the year for travel.
