There's been a slight drop in the number of drink drivers in the city this December.
There were 380 checkpoints since the 1st of December - almost double last year's figure of 197.
This month there were 90 drunk driving detections compared to the 2015 figure of 96.
Garda SuperIntendent Tom Murphy says it shows Dubliners are getting the message to never drink and drive
and are using public transport instead...
