Covid jabs have reduced number of virus deaths

Professor Philip Nolan, who chair’s NPHET’s modelling group, says there are now almost no Covid deaths among people who have been vaccinated.

The latest figures show there have been 38 virus deaths since mid-May.

Several of these actually happened earlier in the year, but have only been recorded recently.

Professor Nolan says this shows vaccines are working.
