A suspicious device has been made safe in Navan.
The Army Bomb Squad were called to the scene in Brews Hill just before half three this morning.
A number of nearby houses were evacuated and a safety cordon was put in place.
A viable device was found in a vehicle, it was made safe and taken away for further investigation.
Residents were allowed to return to their homes at about 8.30am.
