Gardai at Blanchardstown are appealing for witnesses after last night's shooting.
A 38 year old man was injured when shots were fired at a house on Parlickstown Green in Mulhuddart just after 8pm.
Two young children were in the house at the time.
The victim's believed to be in a stable condition, and Gardaí say he's not known to them.
The gunman fled the scene in a dark coloured, medium sized car.
