The Army bomb disposal unit attended a suspicious device in Dublin today.
Gardaí responded to reports of a device in Shielmartin Road in Sutton at around 11am.
The area was sealed off and the Army Explosive Ordnance Unit deemed it to be a non viable device.
It was then removed from the area.
