A prisoner has been found dead at Cloverhill Prison today.
The Irish Prison Service says all deaths in custody are investigated by the service, as well as the the Inspector of Prisons and An Garda Síochána, where circumstances warrant.
The prison service has expressed condolences to the person's family.
It comes just two days after a man in his 40s was found dead at the facility.
