The Guards say they've started investigating an alleged sex assault on a woman in the city centre.
Officers say the reported attack happened in the Dublin 2 area on Sunday.
According to the Herald, a woman in her 20s was raped in the early hours of Sunday morning.
She was later brought to the Sex Assault Treatment Unit at the Rotunda.
