Gardai are appealing for witnesses following an alleged sex assault on a woman in Harolds Cross.
It happened in the early hours of Sunday on Mount Argus Road.
A man reportedly forced the woman against a car and sexually assaulted her.
He stopped when a couple approached.
The suspect's described as being approximately 6 feet tall, with broad shoulders, black hair and a beard.
He can speak Spanish.
Anyone with information about what happened is asked to contact the Gardai at Sundrive station.
